Of the three books you read this trimester, which was your favorite and why? Please give specific examples as to why this book was your favorite. Was it the characters? The plot? The theme? The conflicts? The interest level? Which was your least favorite, and why? (You do not need to respond to two classmates for this entry) I hope you found the class enjoyable, and I wish you nothing by success in you future!
Of the three books I read this trimester I would say that my favorite book to read would have to be "Staying fat for Sarah Byrnes" since I really enjoyed how the characters interacted, There was a nice and satisfying ending where the main villain got what was coming to him. Which my other books didn't have unfortunately. Although with Sarah Byrnes I didn't have much interest, but when I got into the book I found myself getting really hooked on it. And as for my least favorite, it definitely has to be the "I am Malala" book since it had way too much backstory and majority of it didn't even affect Malala or if it did it was in a small way or it was just about the development of the country itself.
ReplyDeleteOut of the three books that I read during this class; my favorite book had to be without a doubt Cottonlandia by Watt Key. This book had great characters with different personalities, and I loved he plot that came with it. I was able to relate to this book because just like the main character, I also had to learn to work on a farm when I was growing up. In this book, Winn faces adversity during the entire book, so as a reader it was a great feeling to see him come out on top. My least favorite part of the book is how Winn and his family do not end up getting back together after the book. Overall, this has been one of the best books that I have ever read, and I would recommend it everyone.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I have read this trimester is rich dad poor dad. there are so many reasons why but I liked the book because I could actually use this information the better set me of in the future as with the other book they were just a waste of my time. Another reason I liked this book more is because It shoed a how a average kid with parents in debt could turn into a multi millionaire. Along with the plot of the story i was just well put together because it was about a real persons life not made up. My least favorite book was the kite runner. It was just a weird book that I couldn't understand at times and it was very boring from time to time.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the books I have read this trimester, Verity by Colleen Hoover has been my overall favorite. Specifically, the fact that the book kept me on my toes the whole time. I never knew what was going to happen and every chapter was something different. I was shocked reading most of the book, but I loved it. I liked the descriptiveness of the events and how Colleen wrote from Verity’s perspective. The plot and suspense I felt made me fall in love with the book. I am so happy with my choice and that I followed my friends' recommendations. My least favorite book was Night by Elie Wiesel. It was my least favorite because I read a lot of good books this trimester. It wasn’t that I did not like Night, it was just the last in my ranking. Overall, I was very pleased with every book I read this trimester.
ReplyDeleteThe three books that I read this trimester were Staying Fat for Sarah Byrne's, the Kite Runner and Rich Dad Poor Dad. Out of those three books I would chose Rich Dad Poor Dad would be the most impactable book to me. The book didn't really have a story plot but taught me the most information out of all my books giving me knowledge I can not get with the other three books. The lessons I've learned throughout the book about investing in realty state, stocks and financial knowledge that will help me and guide me through the struggles that can occur in life.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the books i read this trimester, The Night is my favorite because it is a short read and i like the topic of the story threw Auschwitz to getting out of there. My least favorite was A thousand Splendid Suns because it was super long and I was never able to understand what was going on. I just did not like the read and it was not my type of book.
ReplyDeletei love the current book the most the butterfly garden. because it was one that i chose annd that i was intrested to read. the other book i picked becase it was the least borring but this book is just weird ass hell. like the people in book group wouldnt want to read this book form the crap taht goes down it is horyifying to most but to me its just a book and dostn mean anything but this book its deffenatly at the top of the list of what i have ever read
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was my last book. I love fairytales, magic and stuff like that. There were kings, queens princesses, princes, love, death, war, magic, torture, and heartbreak. My favorite movie is The Princess Bride and the book reminded me of that and I think that is why I enjoyed it so much. The details were amazing and I got attached to so many characters. It was an amazing book and honestly probably my new favorite book.
ReplyDeleteOut of all three books I read over this trimester my favorite book was Running Loose by Chris Crutcher. This book was my favorite because I felt I could relate to the theme and the story of someone being a student athlete while also dealing with the life problems of other people and school. This book was interesting to read as Louie was kicked off the football team, his girlfriend died, and in the end when he decides to go out for track. I felt like the book had a good theme and message and was a page turner. It was interesting to read about Louie and Boomer becoming friends over time, as well as Louie fighting with his coach and principal. It was also interesting to read the book because it took place in 1970, so it interesting to read how sports, and overall life and highschool was back then to compared as to how it is today.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I read this tri was Night. Although Night had many rough parts I still liked it more than the other books because the things that happened in the other 2 books didn't actually happen and I really didn't like the main characters and the things they did. My least favorite book this tri was Kite runner because the beginning of the book was very slow and boring and the things that the main character did just didn't make any sense. I also didn't like the book because throughout the book he aged like 30 years and it seemed like he didn't grow as a person throughout the book
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I read in this class was my 3rd choice book, The Perfect Marriage. This was my favorite book because of the plot, I was always looking forward to reading and never wanted to put the book down. I enjoyed the conflicts in this story and how in the end they resolved and ended up working out for the characters in the story. And in an odd scary way the characters ended up having their life work out well for them. My least favorite book was 1,000 splendid suns I did not enjoy this book at all, there was a lot of gore and very much abuse that I just do not enjoy reading.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was Chinese Handcuffs by its setting and its mysterious plotting that you question what will take place next. The characters were set perfect making the reader try to solve and think how the character act and have problems that most teenagers face. The conflict shot from so many crazy, but important conflict that made you want to keep reading and hope the characters would be good and not do something. Dillion and Jennifier were perfect this book especially adding side characters like Preston, Sandy, and the principle adding on to than find out more. The book is a banned book, and it shows why it is, but the setting and theme is perfect. Just like a teenager can face in their daily life. My least favorite was Night. The only reason why is just the gruesome of what human beings can do to another to me it's just upsetting and definitely to me it hurt when he had to hear it father die. It was my least favorite book only because of the Germans being animals to the Jewish people other than that it was a book that I enjoyed reading except them harsh parts.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I read this trimester is Chinese handcuffs, I really enjoyed this book because the author did a great job really drawing me into the book and characters. I liked the amount of action that was involved throughout the book, the author just kept leaving me on the edge of my seat while reading it and I could not put it down. I liked the basketball aspect of the book but I am glad it did not overtake the entire book. My least favorite book was A thousand splendid suns, this was my least favorite book because it was very repetitive and I hated a specific character this book was also gruesome and I just did not enjoy the overall theme, yet it was very educational.
ReplyDeleteThe Three books I read, Chinese Handcuffs, The Kite Runner, and Night, Piking just one is difficult because each one was intriguing. Chinese Handcuffs really opened my eyes on mental heath and the fact that the characters where in high school and around the same age resonated with me. Kite Runner was a great book it had lots of detail, it also showed what it was like in that time in Afghanistan. I learned so much from that book about just how different other cultures are to our own. Lastly Night, this book really showed me what one person can do to another. The book, as short as it is, really does pack a punch. Having already known a little about the Holocaust going in I was expecting it to be gruesome but to witness it in first person to feel what the author was feeling was something completely different. Out of the Three books my favorite was Chinese handcuffs, mostly because I can relate to it more and it resonated with me.
ReplyDeleteThe book I read in this class that was my favorite was A Thousand Splendid Suns. It was my favorite because it made me feel the most emotions. I was angry, sad, and happy all at the same time. I was also the most invested in the character development within this book. Miriam had my heart. The poor thing did not deserve what happened to her. The plot I also found to be the most interesting. Between Miriam's awful upbringing, abusive husband, and encounters with the Taliban I was constantly invested and couldn't put the book down. The theme of the book was also so aggravating. The treatment of women within the story would make anyone mad. could not believe that humans would be capable of treating other humans like that. Especially because this book did not take place very long ago. The characters of the story would still very well be alive. The book that was my least favorite was Staying Fat for Sarah Brynes because I was not as invested as the other books. I was still interested in it and enjoyed the book just not as much.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book i read was Daisy Jones and The Six by literal miles i loved that book so much, more because it was over a topic i genuinely liked. Specific examples to why is literally everything, the characters all had their own amazing personality, the plot, the conflict between Billy and Daisy is just insane. Least favorite was Splendid Suns it was just to long
ReplyDeleteits a really tough pick for a favorite because each book has its own strength! if i had to choose id say "The Kite Runner" stands out for its emotional depth and the way it explores themes of redemption and friendship. the complex relationship between Amir and Hassan, along with Amir's journey for redemption, really pulls at the heartstring. the setting of Afghanistan and the historical events also add a rich backdrop to the story. As for my least favorite book i don't really have one. each book something unique to offer, and its all about personal preferences and what resonates with you.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick a favorite book from the three I read, I would have to say Earned by Robert Terkla was my favorite. The reason for this I think is because I have more interest in the topic or what the book is about. I have always had a special spot for military books over the rest and I had the ability to choose what I wanted to read rather than it being picked for me. For my least favorite it would be Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Already going into that book I had a negative mind set because at the time it was one of the books that had the most pages. With that said once I got started with the book, it seemed the book took forever to actually get into it but once it did, it truly teaches you a lot about the Afghanistan culture and what it was like over there during a war time. I wouldn't say I was not intrigued with the book but I would say, it was not something I was interested in reading at least at that point and time.
ReplyDeleteOf the three books I would have to say Live in Infamy is my favorite. It gives you an insight of what if something real didn't happen but also gives you and action-packed fiction novel at the same time. Caroline Tung Richmond is very good at getting the reader to visualize important things and events in her book. I really recommend the book to anyone who likes war. This book would also be great for people who like what ifs, people who like to wonder.
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite book was crutches. The author never went into detail about a set plot or even about the characters. If you didn't pay attention to half of the characters, you would still be able to read the book without trouble. It is very hard to engage yourself in.

ReplyDeleteOf the three books I read this trimester, Kite runner has been my favorite not only because it wasn't the independent book talk. But also because the overall theme import I liked a lot of how it was her son and Amir, in the beginning, flying a kite and eventually came full circle as Hassan's son and a mere flying create at the end. And how Amir's character develops throughout the book from being a helpless child, who relies on others to pull himself up by doing it himself. like his father. Also when the little bit on Middle East and that whole conflict that is interesting. But really I didn't have a favorite book they all suck they hated it all.
ReplyDeleteHonestly I loved all books but i loved my book i picked at the end because it had more of what i wanted to read like the hardships of tiring to be a couple and having so many thing in the way like the business voting and how Kai's mom wanted a better fitting girl than Isabella because of her tattoos and purple hair and Gabriel Isabella's brother said you have till your thirty till you can get the share of the family's money and she had to find a job that made her money and that made her happy that Gabriel and her mom approved of since her father died and then with writing her book and how everything turned out. a lot went on and i like how i have a lot going on and then she threw in the part with her ex and that was a plot twist and yeah there was action packed but it could have happened in real life
ReplyDeleteI knew this question was coming and im definitely going to say running loose by Chris Crutcher. The reason is, is because i knew exactly what he was talking about in the book, i could relate to a lot of things that he was saying and the character in the book, like boomer. Dont get me wrong i liked all of the other books and i enjoyed them, but some of them were tough to comprehend. I always got lost in my other books but chris crutchers was just perfect for me. I loved how there waas so many tonged twisters and the way becky dies in the book just caught me off guard. I loved how Louie was nothing but a good kid and did the right thing when his coach was being mean and trying to hurt other kids on the feild. I loved how Boomer kept motivating Louie to keep his head down and grind, the book just reminds you of a comeback story and it was just honstely a really good book to read.
ReplyDeleteOut of all three I found Night by Ellie Wiesel really fantastic. It was the first book ever that got the most reactions out of me. Especially finding out how brutal a book can be physically and mentally it can be. It was such a mental challenge because it took all my strength to not cry in front of everyone in the middle of the classroom. It also depicts how accurate it is which I really didn't know much of the Holocaust which after reading was not really a good time and place. My least favorite book would be Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes by Chris Crutcher not because it was bad or anything but the other books I read just peaked my interest. If I'm going to be honest this class was nothing I expected, the books were amazing I just wished it didn't start at 8 A.M. in the morning but other than that I would enjoyed this class
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book out of the three we read, I would hands-down would pick Mermaids, The Legends, Myths, & Folklore. I loved to learn more about these fantastical creatures and of their different cultural versions. But what I was most surprised of was the conversation of the different other water spirits, nymphs, and goddesses from the other religions, regions, and different common folk. One point that the book does repeatably make is that "Mermaids are man's fear and self fantasies of women." (pg. 07, 35, 104, 167, 201). Which is (in my my opinion) a very good idea to be debated, but it seems to be repeating itself. Other than that, its the only complaint I have of the book. If you love to read about different cultures about how they view the way of water and the seas, and talking about how they all connect to mermaids and sea sirens, then this is the book for you.
ReplyDeleteOut of all three books I read, I believe that Night was my favorite. The whole book was very enjoyable because it was such a large heavy topic and is a true story from the author's point of view. Because it was from Elie’s point of view it made it easy to follow the book and gave every character so much depth because they are/we’re real people who faced real difficulties. Although it was a short book to read it was truly full of valuable information about not only the holocaust but also faith and humanity. My least favorite book would have to be Chinese Handcuffs because it was difficult to follow at times and it was just a very hard book with very hard topics to discuss. The characters also had no depth and no identifiable personality traits which made it hard to relate to them and understand their hardships and how they grew, and they grew up.
ReplyDeleteLoveless was my favorite book out of the three that we read because the characters felt extremely human while still being enjoyable to read about. Georgia's internal monologue is written in a way that I can personally relate to, being annoyed with yourself for not feeling the same things as other people or having the same experiences. The two primary plots were balanced really well, with Georgia exploring her sexuality and her friend group trying to put on a play to keep the Shakespeare Society from getting axed. The conflicts felt like a natural result of the characters' actions, and therefore avoided feeling contrived. Georgia using Jason as an experiment makes sense from a story perspective, and his reaction is entirely justified. My least favorite was Chinese Handcuffs, as I did not really like the narrator and the story felt a little out of order at times, but it was still good.
ReplyDeleteOf the three books we read this trimester, my favorite was easily A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah because of the great detail and the story itself. The story was also true so i found it very interesting. the themes were dark and he was not afraid to share every detail of what he saw in the war. my least favorite was probably Stotan by Chris Krutcher. The book was good but it was my least favorite of the three I read. The book was a good read but was slow and confusing at times.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that I read this trimester was November 9 by Colleen Hoover. This was my choice book and that is why I enjoyed it the most. This book was my favorite because it was my favorite genre which is romance and romance is not in any of the other books I read. I really enjoyed how the book skipped to each November 9th instead of going through the months in-between because the whole book was good and there were no boring parts, It always got to the important stuff. My least favorite was Night because of the fact that it was a sad book and far from a book I would ever choose to read. I wouldn't choose to read a biography.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book I read this tri was Running Loose by Chris Crutcher. I did not even get to pick it cause I was gone. I am so glad that what I got to read. I really enjoyed the plot it was super easy to follow. It had humor but it also had seriousness parts and emotion which I liked how it changed it up and was not the same the whole time. My least favorite book was a long way gone. I disliked it cause it was super hard to follow and the words were hard to read. The book was long and jumped around the place way to much which made it hard to follow
ReplyDeleteOut of all the three books I read this trimester, my favorite one was the last one Every Summer After by Carley Fortune. She is a wonderful author. Although I enjoyed reading all of these books this one was my favorite because I never once got bored. Not saying the other books were boring they were just a little hard to read at times. Not this one I read this book in a week; I think that's the fastest I've ever read a book. I loved the setting the characters and the plot. It was all just so good and worked together so perfectly. I personally don't think I have a least favorite character. If i had to pick maybe Delilah when she was first introduced but I also think she proved her loyalty to Percy. Overall, I loved this book and I wish I could erase my memory and read it again.
ReplyDeleteOut of the 3 books that i read this trimester my last one was by far my favorite. It makes such a big difference being able to pick out a book on your own that you know that you will like. This book was my favorite because of how awesome the characters were and how different they all were during the beginning and how they all became so close in the end of the book. I also liked the conflict and how it took place during world war 2. My least favorite book was stotan. The reason i did not like this was because the characters were a bit weird, and it was about a sport o have no intrest in.
ReplyDeleteOf all three books I read my third book was my favorite because I love Stephen King books and horror is my favorite types of books. It was mostly my favorite because I got to choose the book but also because I just enjoyed the plot of the book and the story is just a good story and its hard to stop reading because the book is non-stop action it never gets boring. My least favorite book was my second book A Thousand Splendid Suns, I didn't like the way the book was written and I didn't really like the story behind the book, I just didn't think it was very enjoyable book
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book throughout the trimester was Night. It is really explanatory on why, because it takes place during WW2 in the Holocaust. I am into WW2, so I pick this book and liked it. Even though I didn't finish the book, I still liked it. I was glad that I got to read this book. P.S I hope all of you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book out of the three I had read was A Long Way Gone. I really enjoyed the amount of detail and emotion put into this book. The author helped visualize the conflict revolving around the main character. The character development of Beah as a person was interesting to read about. He went from a young childish boy into a drugged killer in a matter of months. I really liked how the book ended off with him finally being able to fit back into society.
ReplyDeleteOut of the three books I read this this trimester The Reaper was by far my favorite. The main reason is probably because it was the only book I actually wanted to read. The book was about something I found interesting and made it much easier to read. I find war interesting and enjoy learning about the people and battles you don't really ever hear about. The book I liked the least was A Kite Runner. I really disliked the book. I thought it was a very boring and gave to many details on the wrong things making it hard to read. The summaries also made it seem like a completely different book. I thought it was a book about 2 kids that lived through a war and only made it out alive because of their friendship. The book I got was a kid who was horrible to his friend and felt guilty so he forced him to go away. Then he left to America when the war started and had almost no problems leaving.
ReplyDeleteOut of the three I think my favorite book was Running Loose. I liked it because I didn't know what was going to happen to the main character as well as it had things I liked like football. I also like the how the main character evolved throughout the book. So I think that one was definitely my favorite
ReplyDeleteOut of the three books I read in class, my favorite was Running Loose. it has to be the group I was in and the involvement of football. the characters got old after a while with all of Louie's complaining and childish behaviors but that book was my favorite. my least favorite has to be The Kite Runner, the character was super annoying in my opinion and the book inn general was hard to start and never really hooked me.
ReplyDeleteOverall i enjoyed all of the books that i have read in this class. I would recommend each one to another reader. Overall my favorite book that i read in this class was the one that we were able to choose on are own and i choose November 9th by Colleen Hoover with my sisters guidance. She recommend this book out of the Colleen Hoover books that she has. I decide to trust her and i ended up loving it. It was a book full of love and suspense that must teenage girls love. The amount of suspense that was in this book is whet keep me the most interested. I went into this class as a girl that never read and claimed that reading was boring. Now i am going into the summer with a want to read list. So therefore i can not say i had one least favorite book.
ReplyDeleteI would say the book that was my favorite was Icebreaker by Hannah Grace i loved the book so much it definitely was a rollercoaster of emotions but it was more because it was a book that I genuinely liked. Specific examples to why is literally everything, the characters all had their own amazing personality, the plot, the conflicts that happened between Nathan and Ana are just crazy. Least favorite was Splendid Suns it was just too long for me, I enjoyed reading about and learning different cultures, but it was way too long and took my group along time to finish.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book this trimester would have to be "Chinese Handcuffs" by Chris Crutcher. I enjoyed this book do to it's format and layout of the book i like how the author decide to do a journal entry type of format that the regular standard. This book was very well written on how the engage all the characters together and giving us such a detailed background of each characters . The main thing that was memorable for me was the unexpected plot twist and the uncertainty of what would happen next.
ReplyDeleteI never really knew what this book was about when It came to choosing it. By the sound of it, it seems like it would have been a good read for me.
DeleteOut of the three books I've read throughout this trimester, The Outsiders be S.E. Hinton was my favorite. It was the most themed book out of all three, based on the story and each individual character described in the book. My favorite character would have to be Sodapop, because he was always outgoing and helped everyone get along during the bad times. Although Soda was a good character, I pretty much liked every character in the book. The author did a great job at describing each characters looks, personality, careers, and background story. The only thing that was bad about the book was that it was too short, events took place too fast. I mean, Hinton did a good job at squeezing everything in 180 pages, but I feel like it should've been longer pages to describe each event clearly. It's similar to Stotan! and Night because of how short and fast paced the book was. There was a lot of conflict in the book between The Greasers and The Socials, the conflict lead up to many deaths in the book. It was really interesting when Johnny killed the Soc and had to run away with ponyboy, they had to hide out in a church in Windrixville for a week. The book was really sad for Johnny and Dally's role because he been through so much and died in such an unpleasant way. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this book and looking forward to watching the movie.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book that i read this trimester would have been Night By Elie Wiesel. This was my favorite book because it was the book that i really wanted to read, and because it is about a topic that i am very interested in. The plot made the book a very hard to put down read. My least favorite book would have to be Stotan because it was a slow read and it was not really a book that i liked.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed all of my books. the first one was about Perserverance and sports the second one about the history of the holocaust and the third one about finding yourself and nature and being adventurous. Out of all three books I enjoyed my last one the best. The plot of this book seemed very harsh for a young boy to go through losing his parents and then living on his own. I think I liked this book the most because of Jeremy I can relate to Jeremy because he is just a young boy who wants to be adventurous. My favorite part of this book was when the train crashed this was very action packed and very good details. I enjoyed all my books but I think my least favorite was Night because it was very hard to read and no adventure or lots of action.
ReplyDeleteOut of all three of the books my favorite was A Long Way Gone by Ishmael Beah. This was my favorite for the reason I got a different prospective on what children have to go through in other countries. This made it hard to put down especially for the reason that you feel more for him when he talks about how young all this is happening. Even though it was hard to picture and visualize it was still an interesting read. My favorite part of the book was when Ishmael got his get back when he found the dude that shot him and so he tortured him I thought that was pretty cold of him. I would not say I have a least favorite as all the books were good and enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the books I read in this class I have to say that Shipped was my favorite. This was my favorite because it was really my type of book. It was funny and witty. One example is when Henley and Graeme are bickering back and forth like they usually do, and everyone just looked at each other and all just said get a room. Another reason this is my favorite book is because Graeme is so sweet. Henley got seasick when she first got on the ship and he, without really knowing her, took care of her. My least favorite book would have to be Chinese Handcuffs. Not because it was a bad book, I really enjoyed it actually. I just loved the other two books more.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was my choice book live free, i loved reading this book and loved reading about the lessons he told. the reason why I enjoyed this book was learning the lessons he has learned throughout his life and being able to use them in my life. so in moments throughout my journey i cant use what he learned to help me.
ReplyDeleteOf the three books the one that i liked the most was probably night because it allowed me to learn what happens in auschwitz and what the germans ended up doing to the jews. i believe that the main reason that i enjoyed the book so much is because of how the detail of the story allowed you to actually feel like you were there in the experience. like when elie tells us the readers when they went and had to first enter the camps and what it was like for not only his family but also other families. but over all there probably would have been a different book i would have prefered to read.
ReplyDeletemy favorite book that I read this trimester was Divergent by Veronica Roth. One of the things that made this book my favorite is that despite not being based on real people all the characters feel real in the way they act and the way they speak in the story like how the main character Tris reacts to someone she thought was her friend betraying her. The plot of the book was another part of why this book was my favorite as the plot leaves this overarching mystery that only is solved towards the end of the book whilst also leaving a cliffhanger making me want to read the second book. in contrast my least favorite book I read this trimester was Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini because towards the end of the book seems rushed and certain details are forgotten like Assef and the Taliban looking for Amir.

ReplyDeleteRunning loose was my favorite book we read, i liked that all the characters were unique and you always can picture whats going on. The worst book was i am malala it was just a really hard book to get into.
out of all of the books we read, my favorite book was Stotan, one of the things that made this book my favorite, was because it was about sports. I liked reading the book and the events that had happened made me want to keep reading it. my least favorite book was the second one, Thousand splendid suns. that book was tough to read because of how boring it was.
ReplyDeleteI never read Stotan, but from what I heard it was a good book. I can relate in a way as my 1st book choice was Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes which is also about swimming.
DeleteOut of all the books I read Running Loose was my favorite not only because it was the shortest butt because there was a really good build up and a lot of big events and lots of mixed emotions throughout the book. All of the characters demonstrated what it's like to be in high school. My least favorite was I Am Malala because it was a really long build up and I felt there was a lot of unimportant information the stretched the book out and made it boring.
ReplyDeleteOf all three books I read, this trimester is the third book is my favorite. The reason why it is my favorite is because it is about WW2 and I like reading books that are about war. The conflict was probably is he main thing that had me hook when ii first started reading it. There were none that were my least favorite.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was my choice novel (The Sacred Acre). This one was my favorite because I could relate to it in many different ways. The setting is based in Parkersburg, Iowa, which is based right outside of Waterloo. This is the main reason I can connect to is so much because the setting is almost identical to how I live everyday. The book is also based on a true story about this respected high school coach who got brutally murdered. Mark Tabb does a great job in summarizing his life and how he was brought up to be the great man he was. After reading this novel, I feel like a better person overall and this novel really shows how good things can come a long way.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book was a long way gone. This was my favorite book because it was nice to find out what other people are going though, I thread world country's . it was also a really well-built book. that went it to detail an was essay to stay intensed in. had a lot of changes that would make you want to keep reading.
ReplyDelete
